In this week's tip we are going to talk about the new automatically generated usernames and passwords that are provided during the New Account Wizard. These suggested login credentials are there to help speed up the account creation process, and can be edited at any time - either during Step 2 or afterwards from the Authentication tab.
The Username defaults to the first word of the Account Name plus their Account ID. The Admin username simply includes the word 'admin'. Both passwords are 6 digits long and randomly generated.
In any cases these Usernames are placeholders until the customer can establish preferred credentials with our Support Team that are not already taken. Pending Accounts submitted via the Free Trial Request page currently do no taken into consideration what the customer had filled in themselves. This is something that will be addressed in an upcoming AMS development build. Until then, please edit / submit accordingly.
