All titles must be assigned grade levels. We want to be able to distinguish content intended for high school and college audiences from content designed for lower grade ranges. With that in mind, please assign grade levels appropriately.
Ideally, a title will be assigned to specific grades that span just one of these ranges:
- Pre-K - Grade 5
- Grade 6 - Grade 8
- Grade 9 - College
- Professional Development
If a title has relevance across more than one of these ranges, an exception can be made but most titles should only be assigned grades within a common range.
For example:
- a title can be assigned to grades 10, 11, 12, and college (but not grade 9)
- a title can be assigned to grades 9 and 10 (but not 11, 12, or college)
- but assigning a title to grades 7, 8, and 9 should be avoided whenever possible, as these span two ranges.
